Stress Management & Relaxation Therapy through Reiki Therapy

We all need to take responsibility to manage our own stress levels. Stress is at epidemic proportions in most peoples lives now, many people are so stressed & they don't even know it. Have a quick check below (at  the  bottom  of  the  page) to see if you have any of the stress symtoms. It's amazing at just how many young people have burn out in their young 20's - let alone think about the more mature age groups.

The most vital requirements for Stress Management are: (1) awareness of the various stress, look for behavioural symtoms & attributes that may point towards stress. (2) Acceptance is the second step to positive change with stress management. Change is always possible, but you need to acept you may be stressed before you can begin to learn how to cope. (3) The third step is that you acknowledge that responsibility for changes - as changes begin with you & only "YOU" can instigate change. (4) The final & fourth step is that you learn & aquire skills for managing & coping with stress. Check the bottom of the page for Stress Management Techniques.

Some Stress Management Skills are a bit lower on this page.

WHAT TO DO ABOUT STRESS & HOW TO MANAGE IT THROUGH STRESS & RELAXATION THERAPY

Five Basic Habits We Should Introduce into our Lives to Minimise Stress:

1.  Exercise  Regularly

2.  Maintain you recommended Weight

3.  Don't Smoke

4.  Eat a regular, balanced breakfast

5.  Sleep 7 to 8 hours a day

Easier said than done - isn't it!! Change isn't easy, & just by trying to change by ourselves may not be enough, sometimes we need the support of others to get you through the tough times & sometimes it's best to have a person who isn't involved in your world of living.. I offer Professional Relaxation & Stress Therapy.  In the sessions, we begin to work out where your stressors are! Can you change them somehow? Is it your environment - your job - your living arrangements? Sometimes it just isn't possible to change all of these - however, we can change ourselves & our attitudes (we just have to find out where the negative thinking is coming from & where the stressors are, which may be external or internal), we need to do something about them by working out a Stress Management Plan. (See below)

We need to look at what you eat? What do you do for relaxation (if you get any)? Time management. Negative self-talk & much more.

To work out a Stress/Relaxation Plan for you, I offer many complimentary Holistic Therapies that help with Stress Management & we, together, work out whats best for you!! The norm being Reiki & Metaphysical Healing & Swedish Back, Shoulder & Neck Massage.
